Allegations

The complaint alleges that the employer failed to provide uninterrupted meal periods to hourly employees and deducted meal time from pay regardless of whether a meal period was taken. It further alleges that the employer failed to provide uninterrupted rest periods to hourly employees because of productivity demands and understaffing. It further alleges that the employer failed to pay overtime wages for all overtime hours worked, including by not calculating the regular rate of pay correctly and through off-the-clock work. It further alleges that the employer failed to provide accurate itemized wage statements because all hours worked, including off-the-clock work, were not reflected. It further alleges that the employer required employees to purchase steel toed boots and gloves for their jobs and failed to reimburse them for these necessary business expenses. It further alleges that the employer failed to pay at least minimum wage for all hours worked, including unpaid security check and off-the-clock time.
