Allegations

The complaint alleges that the employer's payroll debit card program charged employees fees that discounted and deducted their wages without written authorization, in violation of the Labor Code. It further alleges that the employer failed to pay non-exempt employees minimum wages for all hours worked, because it deducted and discounted wages and paid less than earned. It further alleges that the employer provided incomplete and inaccurate itemized wage statements that omitted required information such as gross wages, net wages, hours worked and applicable hourly rates. It further alleges that the employer failed to provide uninterrupted, compliant meal periods and failed to pay premium wages for missed meal periods. It further alleges that the employer failed to authorize and permit uninterrupted rest periods and failed to pay premium wages for missed rest periods.
