Allegations

The complaint alleges that the employer failed to provide compliant meal periods because mandatory security searches interrupt meal periods, and did not pay premium pay for the missed meal periods. It further alleges that the employer failed to pay wages, including minimum wages, for all hours worked, because employees undergo mandatory off-the-clock security searches without compensation. It further alleges that the employer failed to pay overtime because off-the-clock security searches occur in hours worked beyond daily and weekly overtime thresholds. It further alleges that the employer willfully failed to pay all wages due upon termination or resignation because employees worked off the clock without pay. It further alleges that the employer failed to pay all wages due on regularly-scheduled paydays because employees are not paid for time spent in security searches.
